Health Ministry

1 Corinthians 6: 19 “ Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?”

What Is It?

           Health ministry is anything a congregation does to intentionally minister to the emotional, social, physical, mental, and spiritual health of its members. South Grandville already has many components of this ministry such as shut in visiting, meal delivery, blood drives, aerobics, care circles and Stephen Ministry.  The team wants to build up the existing ministries and add new ministries which will be a powerful force for healing both in the congregation and the community.

A new ministry that fits in with the health ministry is the Prayer Shawl ministry where prayer shawls are knitted or crocheted and then given to shut-ins or those who are ill or in the hospital.

The health team is being restructured and more information will be coming later.
