South Grandville Christian Reformed Church is committed to reaching out in many different ways: Our church supports nine missionaries in different parts of the nation and world. The theme for Mission Emphasis week was "Sharing God's Story.....Neighborhoods to Nations. South Grandville Church is also very "user friendly" having an elevator, hearing loop, large print bulletins and signing upon request. Some specific ministries we are part of are:
REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT South Grandville CRC will has worked with PARA, Bethany Christian services in resettling a family from Burma. This family was settled in Grandville two years ago.
SOUTH GRANDVILLE BABY SUPPLY PANTRY The baby supply pantry is open on the second Tuesday of each month from 2-4p.m. Diapers and wipes, along with other baby items are available for parents to pick up. Everyone, however, must be registered through United Church Outreach Ministry (UCOM). The telephone number for UCOM is 241-4006
GRANDVILLE AREA FRIENDSHIP MINISTRY
Grandville Area Friendship Ministry meets in South Grandville Church on Thursday evenings from 7-8 p.m. This is a Bible study/friendship group for mentally challenged individuals. The meetings begin in October continuing through April. The Friendship students, as well as other mentally challenged people, are welcomed in our church.
