childrens ministries
At South Grandville Church our kids (infant through 12th grade) experience safe,
age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.
Nursery
We have a well-supervised nursery during our services. Our nursery provides a safe place for infants and toddlers. During their time in the nursery, your children will enjoy play time, a story and coloring page for the toddlers, as well as a snack.
kids own worship
(ages 4 - 2nd grade)
Kids Own Worship takes place during the church service. The children are dismissed from the sanctuary with a children's blessing following the opening praise. During Kids Own worship, children hear a Bible story and engage in age-appropriate activities to help them learn and grow. We are currently using the The Gospel Project program for this time of worship. This program presents the gospel from beginning to end in a way that kids can understand. Kids own worship runs year around.
Creator's Choir:
Creator's Choir is our kids choir for ages 4-2nd grade. They practice following the morning service from 11:20-12 pm. They sing several times during throughout the year, including our annual Christmas Program held in December.
sunday School & Catechism classes (grades 3-12)
Kids in grades 3-12 meet for Sunday school classes following the morning service from 11:20-12 pm. Sunday School classes use a variety of curriculum to learn more about what it means to be a Christ-follower while Catechism classes learn more about the Reformed faith.
